Lauren Sanchez has spoken badly about marriage plans with Jeff Bezos
Lauren Sanchez kept it short when she answered questions about her wedding plans with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos during an interview on the Today show.
Sanchez, an Emmy-winning journalist and vice chairman of the Bezos Earth Fund, appeared on the show to promote a recent $110 million donation she and her boyfriend made to fight homelessness.
Sanchez told the hosts of Today that although she is busy, she is in the middle of planning her wedding.

“I am very happy about it, I think about the dress. I have to say, I have Pinterest. I’m like every other bride,” said Sanchez. “I never thought that I’m 54 – I’ll be 55 – that I’ll be a writer, that I’ll get married. I mean life is just beginning,” continued Snachez.
In a 2023 interview with Vogue, Sanchez, who became engaged to Bezos in May 2023, talked about how Bezos asked for her hand in marriage.
She explained that Bezos asked her to marry him after finding the ring tucked under her pillow one night in May. At the time, they were getting ready to go to bed for the night after having dinner on Bezos’ giant sailboat, Koru, according to the outlet.
Sanchez said she thought she had “disappeared a little bit” when she “opened the box” to propose, Vogue reported in its December issue.
Before marriage, their relationship it has been almost five years. Both had previous marriages, the Amazon founder separated from Mackenzie Scott after twenty years.
