LPG Price Per Cylinder: State-run oil marketing companies have increased the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for commercial use by around Rs 16.5 per cylinder from Sunday, December 1, while keeping the domestic prices unchanged. Currently, state-owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) supply LPG to households—meant for private consumption—in 14.2 kg units and businesses— intended for commercial use—in 19-kilogram units. LPG refill prices for domestic use are at the current level as of August 1, according to information available on the IOCL website.
