2nd fatal shooting at Henderson shopping center in the last 6 months

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A man was found dead in a Henderson parking lot, according to police.

Police said they responded to a shooting that occurred in the 500 block of Marks Street near Sunset Road on Friday before 9:00 p.m. when they found the man dead.

The shooting incident is being investigated by the Henderson Police Department as a homicide and no suspects have been arrested, however police have not released information to 8 News Now about any arrests.

The incident is the second homicide in the 500 block of Marks Street in the past six months.

The public has been asked to avoid the area.
