A multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus on I-630 eastbound in Little Rock is backing up traffic Saturday evening
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Traffic on Interstate 630 eastbound in Little Rock was backed up Saturday evening due to a multi-vehicle accident involving a school bus.
According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation DriveArkansas camerasthe crash happened near exit 4 and affected all lanes.
The incident was first reported around 5:22 pm and ARDOT crews are still working to clean up the scene.
ARDOT reports that someone in traffic is being diverted from the road at exit 5.
According to the fire department in Little Rock, five people were injured in the accident and were taken to local hospitals, but there were no students and no one was in critical condition.
Officials did not say which school the students on the bus were from, but said they were all able to board another bus.
