The league leaders are aiming to maintain their unbeaten run against struggling Augsburg.

Game preview

The Bavarians come into the game in commanding form, having won their last four Bundesliga games and currently sitting at the top with 26 points from a possible 30.

Their recent defensive prowess has been particularly noteworthy, with the team securing back-to-back 1-0 victories.

Since losing 4-1 against Barcelona in the Champions League on October 23, Bayern have shown remarkable resilience, winning five games in a row without being relegated.

Augsburg, in 13th place with 12 points, arrives at the Allianz Arena amid a four-match unbeaten run.

However, their away form remains a major concern, having lost seven of their last eight games in the top flight.

The visitors’ defensive vulnerability is reflected in their statistics, as they have conceded 20 goals this season – the fourth worst defensive record in the Bundesliga.

Bayern’s home record this season has been great, with the team winning nine and drawing two of their last 11 games at the Allianz Arena.
