Alec Baldwin’s appearance on “Saturday Night Live” provided more laughs after the live broadcast ended.
Baldwin, 66, was slammed online after the show when eagle-eyed fans noticed during Charli XCX’s closing performance that the “Rust” actress failed to zip up her pants.
During the debut of the weekly sketch comedy show, Baldwin also sparked heated discussions on social media when he made his SNL debut as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
One user simply wrote, “Alec Baldwin’s zipper was down on SNL. What a waste.”

Another X user said, “I have to believe she despises the SNL wardrobe department, so much so that no one ever bothered to tell her to zip up before she went on stage for a good night’s sleep….surprisingly her jacket is completely zipped up.”

While many users were upset about the zipper incident, others still haven’t forgotten Baldwin’s first appearance as RFK Jr. during the cold opening.

“Alec Baldwin just can’t do impressions,” one user wrote. “Period. Full stop. Why don’t they hire someone with these skills?”

Baldwin will soon return to television screens with the release of his family’s reality TV show, “The Baldwins,” premieres in 2025 on the TLC network. Baldwin and his wife, Hilaria, have three daughters, Carmen, Maria and Ilaria, in addition to four sons, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo and Eduardo.

He also has a daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger. Alec became a he is a grandfather for the first time last year when Ireland gave birth to a baby girl.
This week, the Emmy Award-winning actor will release his controversial film four years in the making, “Rust.”

In July, a New Mexico judge dismissed the charge of involuntary manslaughter against Baldwin in the fatal shooting of photographer Halyna Hutchins after a ruling that the prosecutor withheld evidence from his legal team.
Baldwin had been facing up to 18 months in prison if convicted in Hutchins’ death in October 2021. “Rust” is played for the first time on the big screen at the Camerimage Festival in Poland on November 16.
