Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie will face the court in court
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be sued over their bitter, years-long wine battle.
A judge ruled that Pitt’s allegations against Jolie in 2022 could go to trial in an order issued Monday, Fox News Digital confirmed. Pitt accused his ex-wife of breaching the former couple’s contract when she sold her shares in their winery to the Stoli Group “in private.”
The judge ruled that Pitt and Jolie had an implied contract as well as an oral agreement. A written agreement was in place regarding the shares in the holding company, according to the order, which was obtained by Fox News Digital.
To settle the matter out of court, Pitt asked Jolie to reverse the sale of her stake in Miraval to Yuri Shefler. A representative for Jolie did not respond to Fox News Digital’s immediate request for comment.
ANGELINA JOLIE SAYS BRAD PITT TRIED TO SILENCE HIS ABUSE ALLEGATIONS AS HE SECRETLY HITS HER BRAND SALES.
The former couple bought a control pole Château Miraval in 2008 and spent time at home throughout their relationship. Jolie attempted to sell her company, Nouvel, to Tenute Del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli Group, in 2021, effectively transferring her 50% ownership interest to Miraval. Pitt contested the sale, saying the move violated the agreement between the two.
Meanwhile, Jolie’s company says Pitt has masterminded a “revenge campaign” to “loot” the profitable business since she first filed for divorce in 2016.
Nouvel accused Pitt of “hijacking” Château Miraval and “wasting” the company’s assets on unnecessary renovations, including spending $1 million on pool repairs, according to court documents previously obtained by Fox News Digital.

A source close to Jolie also said that Pitt was given a chance to buy his pole Miravalbut the actor “refused” to complete the sale unless the actor agreed to remain silent about the alleged domestic abuse.
“No matter how many times Mr. Pitt amends his complaint, he can’t escape the fact that he abused and assaulted Ms. Jolie and their children — even strangling one of the children and hitting another,” a source told Fox News Digital.
“Still today and in the seven years since the plane crash, he has never publicly denied that it happened. Mr. Pitt says that he is suing his ex-wife to protect his family. It is difficult to understand because he knows exactly what happened. The children have not been able to return to the house in France for almost seven years now because of the events that led to Ms. Jolie file for divorce.”

However, a source told Fox News Digital that the winery battle is “a straightforward business dispute.”
“This is a direct business dispute, but, unfortunately, the other side has been presenting people’s material that has exposed weaknesses in its case, making the trial difficult and easy,” said the source.
