Dave Coulier Defends John Stamos Against Bald Cap Criticism

Dave Coulier he is not impressed by critics who ask why John Stamos he donned a bald cap in support of his longtime friend.

“I’m sorry to see so many negative comments as I’ve just started my cancer journey,” Coulier, 65, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday, November 19. “Our friendship (John and I) and this is how we do it. They’re going through a very difficult time. I’m a comedian and comedy is what drives me. . John knows how to cheer me up and I laughed so hard when he came in a bald cap – to be a true loving friend.”

Just one day earlier, Stamos, 61, posted photos of himself on Instagram wearing a bald cap as a sign of support for Coulier, who recently went public with his Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

“I’ve heard from many people who have been inspired enough by my words and actions to see their doctors and get mammograms, colonoscopies or prostate exams,” Coulier shared in his latest social media post. . “I will still laugh despite the difficulties.”

After losing her sister Sharon, mother Arlen, and niece Shannon to cancer, Coulier said her family “tried to stay positive.” He hopes to continue that positive spirit.

“We made fun of each other very badly,” he continued. “I choose to spread the word about early detection of cancer to help people. That’s just who I am. I wish you nothing but love for all of you.”
