Sportsman Erin Andrews ruffled feathers with his story of a recent NFL game.

Meteorologist Sam Kuffel of Milwaukee-based news station CBS 58 called out Andrews, 46, for comments he made about the weather while covering the Sunday, Nov. 3, Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers.

“Begging Erin Andrews to stop making weather warnings,” Kuffel wrote on X on Sunday, adding “things like this make me irrationally angry” in a follow-up tweet.

Kuffel’s post comes after Andrews referred to a 43-mph gust and the possibility of lightning during the game, neither of which happened despite rainy conditions at Green Bay, Wisconsin’s Lambeau Field.

“And 43 mph?! Specially 🤨,” the meteorologist and weather risk manager at DTN Tanner Verstegen wrote X in response to Kuffel’s Twitter.

“Really?!?!” Kuffel replied.

Andrews also brought up the weather while chatting with the Lions quarterback Jared Goff after his team beat the Packers 24-14.

“These conditions were crazy,” Andrews said. “The wind is strong, the rain is going sideways, [Lions’ defensive coordinator] Aaron Glenn he couldn’t see with his glasses. Tell me what it was like to play this time.”

Goff, 30, responded that the game showed the Lions’ ability to play outside in bad weather despite their home stadium, Ford Field, being packed.

Fritzo added that Andrews meant to say that he used previous information from previous meetings with coaches in his reports and remains “clear” about where his information comes from.

Meanwhile, Thompson, 42, addressed the controversy via Instagram at the time.

“I have never lied about anything or done anything wrong when I was a sports broadcaster,” he said Thursday Night Football the host wrote in a post that has since been deleted. “If there is no coach to give me information that I can carry out my report, I would use the information I learned and saw in the first half to make my report. For example, if a team was 0 for 7 on 3rd down, that would be an area they need to improve in the second half. “
