Katie Maloney Talks Exclusively With Ariana, Schwartz After VPR News Season 12
Katie Maloney we mourn the end of Vanderpump Rules with the help of a few selected expenses.
“I have spoken to him Ariana [Madix] and I spoke to him Tom Schwartzbut it is,” said Katie, 37, on the Wednesday, December 4, episode of her “Ngedeli” podcast. “I mean, Ariana and I have very similar thoughts and feelings. Tom, I don’t want to speak for him, but I think, while he knows that this is coming with all that, he’s still, like, [state] of established unbelief.”
Katie, Ariana, 39, and Schwartz, 42, have been mainstays on the Bravo hit since the beginning together. Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, James Kennedy and the matriarch Lisa Vanderpump. News broke late last month that none of the OGs — except for LVP, 64, — will be returning for season 12 in favor of a new group of SURvers.
“We knew it would come to this one day, but you don’t know what that’s going to look like, how it’s going to end,” Katie continued, speaking to her partner and show alum. Dayna Kathan. “So, when it’s here, you’re like, ‘Wow, this is it. This is how the story ends. Interesting, OK.’”
For Katie, she is also excited about “what’s next” in her personal and professional life.
“I’ve been through, like, big endings and changes and the unknown of what’s next, [which] I’m really happy,” he said. “It’s scary, a little bit, because of what you’ve known for a long time and it’s comfortable and even if it’s not a guarantee or there’s no stability, you can settle down. You can experience instability and all that, but I’m happy because I haven’t been able to think about anything else for so long.”
Katie added, “[When] you’re in a contract, you’re limited to what you can do without it, but now it’s like, ‘Oh, can I have options? It’s interesting.’”
According to Katie, she hopes to do more reality TV shows in the future. In addition, the TV personality hosts the “Disrespectful” podcast and owns a French-inspired sandwich shop, called Something About Her, in Los Angeles near Ariana.
“This past week, [I’ve seen] people at the grocery store or walking into a sandwich shop or going to get laser hair removal and they’re like, ‘I’m so sad,’” Katie recalls. “Many people were planted and it affected many people’s lives, there are many people involved in this until you forget. I will miss this kind of connection because many people grew up with us and we shared our lives with many people. “
Katie also has no regrets from her time Pump Rules and “he will do it all again.”
“It was amazing memories, I learned a lot. I went through a lot in that process. It wasn’t always easy,” he said. “I think being able to break away from it has been healing, it’s encouraged a lot of growth.”
