Trump’s pick for US ambassador to Israel says it will take five minutes to shut down Iran’s ‘money tree’.

How long will it take to undo the Biden-Harris Middle East policy? About five minutes, according to Mike Huckabee.

The former Arkansas governor turned US ambassador to Israel nominee suggested that President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the Oval Office would mark a sea change, bringing unwavering loyalty to Israel while “taking the money tree” away from terrorist groups.

“To be honest, Joe Biden has sometimes been very supportive of Israel, and we’ve often heard him and Blinken and others talk about an ironclad relationship. [between Israel and the United States]and then the next day, we heard pressure on Israel not to continue its efforts against Hamas. You think, ‘well, why don’t you continue your efforts against people who kill innocent civilians and have a bloody attitude about it?’

“The truth remains that the real problem here is not Hamas, Hezbollah or the Houthis. It’s Iran,” Huckabee told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo on Monday.

“They are the ones who provide the money [terrorism]and when the Biden administration rolled back a massive pressure campaign that effectively shut down Iran’s ability to finance this nonsense, that changed everything, so I’m waiting for the president. [Trump] it’s going to put a lot of pressure back on Iran, and that’s going to take away the money tree from some of these terrorist groups and make it more difficult for them to carry out their incredibly heinous acts of killing civilians.”

The president-elect has “proved himself” to be a loyal friend to Israel, said Huckabee, pointing to situations from Trump’s first term – moving the American embassy to Jerusalem and recognizing the Golan Heights as part of Israel, among others.

There are still more crowds to come for the changing of the guard, Huckebee stressed, as he weighed in on Trump’s Cabinet appointees so far.

“[They are] disruptors, people who don’t just come to fuel DC’s machinery, and if there was ever a time when this country needed a distraction from the ebb and flow of the coalition, the deep state, the establishment, you name it, the swamp, the swamp [it’s now]… this president has put together a team that will disrupt Washington, but bring back American families living here in the middle of the country. That’s why he’s so popular, that’s why there’s a strong mandate that he’ll take office on January 20.”

Trump’s nominees include a star-studded lineup of voices such as Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota, former Rep. Hawaii Tulsi Gabbard, New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and former independent president Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
