“Narco sub” carrying 8,000 kilograms of cocaine seized in Pacific Ocean, Mexican Navy says

The Mexican military said Tuesday it seized 3.6 tons (about 8,000 kilograms) of cocaine from the ship. “narco sub” on the Pacific coast that was spotted earlier this week about 153 miles from Places to stay in Acapulco.

The seizure comes weeks after the Mexican Navy announced it had done so seized more than 8.3 tons of drugs in the Pacific Ocean, a record for a single operation at sea. The cargo was taken from six different vessels, including a “narco sub” carrying approximately 4,800 kilograms of drugs.

The Navy said on Tuesday that more than 15,000 kilograms of suspected drugs were seized at sea under the current administration.
