Sister Wives Recap: Christine Brown Tries On Bridal ‘Vagina Dress’
Christine Brownher daughters did not hold back from sharing their views while wearing wedding dresses Sister Wives – especially when one dress proves to be unmistakably too small.
“Your private part looks really nice,” Mikelti Brown she told her mom, 52, on the Sunday, Dec. 8, episode of the TLC series after she slipped into a cute dress that had a lace top on her.
Christine asked in surprise, “[It] does it look like a lingerie?” before turning around and seeing the “vagina lace” placement.
“Leave it to Mykelti. [She] he will always say what everyone else doesn’t want to say,” Janelle Brown he said during a confessional interview and after attending a party to buy his sister-in-law’s dress.
“We weren’t sure where it was, but now we are,” joked Mykelti, 28, after taking a second look at the dress.
Christine looked at it in the mirror, admitting, “No, you’re right. I wouldn’t want that.” Her boyfriend at the time David Woolleydaughter of Kait then he got on the sofa, saying, “I think my father can do that.”
These harsh words moved Christine’s children, Mykelti and the eldest daughter Aspyn Brownmaking fun of their mother’s sex life. (Christine shares daughters Aspyn, 29, Mykelti, Gwendlyn23, Ysabel,21, and Of course14, and a son Padeon26, and ex-husband Is Brown. They split in November 2021.)
“I think she can get it without that,” Aspyn said, referring to David, 60, who knows Christine’s makeup intimately.
“Let’s hope he can find it without that,” Mykelti joked, and Aspyn replied, “He can.” As the girls’ couch giggled, Mykelti teased, “It’s like an arrow.”
Christine straightened her face and said, “You’re fine! You’re fine” before changing into another outfit. “TMI” shouted one of the women from across the room.
Christine appeared upset at the sight of her girls, telling the cameras, “Oh, my god. Okay, I’m not wearing this dress. This is a little beyond my comfort level.”
While the group laughed about the NSFW outfit, the day was very emotional for Christine as she recalled her first wedding to Kody, 55, and how the ceremony failed to check all the boxes. When the wives got married in a spiritual ceremony in 1994, Christine did not have a cake or a big ceremony because of their plural lives.
“When I married Kody, my mother and I chose my dress,” she told the cameras, explaining that her mother ended up “making my wedding dress for me” but she couldn’t go to weddings because “you have to be a member of the group.” to the church to come to the wedding services.”
Christine remembers, “She brought me a dress, but she never saw me wearing it,” which is why her mother coming to this dress with her children and Janelle, 55, “was very important.”
Janelle, who married Kody in 1993 and announced their separation in December 2022, had a similar experience in her marriage.
“I actually didn’t have a wedding dress when Kody and I got married,” Janelle said. “My family was sad about my decision to join the religion, so most of my family didn’t talk to me or socialize with me. I had a green dress on.”
Now that he is single, he has a different idea about future marriage. “If I get married again, I probably won’t have a dress. I’m not going to wear a big white dress,” said Janelle. “Maybe I’ll just get married on the mountain and wear my jeans somewhere.”
Christine, meanwhile, chose a form-fitting lace and beaded dress for her October 2023 wedding to David. The dress was slightly off the shoulder and had a deep V neckline.
The couple also indulged in refreshments, creating three different cakes to make Christine miss out on her first wedding.
“David and I chose three cakes because we couldn’t reduce them. David, he makes everything look easy,” Christine said in the episode. “He says, ‘Why did you choose? Let’s take them all if we like.’ Isn’t that good?”
Sister Wives airs on TLC Sundays at 10 pm ET.
