The View’s Alyssa Farah Griffin Shares Her Journey With IVF at 35

Watching‘s Alyssa Farah Griffin she is ready to open up about her journey to become a mother.

“I’m going to use IVF right now,” Farah Griffin, 35, shared on the Monday, December 2, episode of “The View: Behind the Table” podcast. “My husband [Justin Griffin] and I’ve been hoping, I’ve been trying to get pregnant for about a year and a half, and it wasn’t happening naturally so we made the decision to go ahead with IVF. This is now my second round.”

Watching The cohost said he will be absent from the “Hot Topics” panel on Tuesday, December 3, due to a doctor’s appointment.

Although she has yet to discuss her IVF journey on the show, Farah Griffin explained why she wanted to share more about it WatchingThe official podcast.

“I didn’t know at my age how difficult this would be,” he told the broadcaster Brian Teta. “I’m only 35 years old and I was like, ‘I have a lot of time. This won’t be that hard. I am healthy. I work hard. I eat well.’ My body just wasn’t cooperating.”

Farah Griffin – who is also a political commentator for CNN – recalled doing IVF injections on Election Night in November during an appearance on air.

While the first cycle was relatively smooth, the second was a different experience.

“I’ve been dangerous,” he said. “I didn’t hear it myself. I’ve been tired. I have sympathized, you feel uncomfortable in your body. I just wanted to mention it because, for someone who’s wondering how hard it was, it’s because all the stories we hear are usually about women on the other side, like, ‘Here’s my baby and, oh, so fast, it was hard to get here.'”

By opening up about her motherhood journey, Farrah Griffin hopes to give other women reassurance that they are not alone.

“I wanted to share with women who are struggling that there is hope and you just have to be in this program,” continued Farah Griffin. “There is light at the end of the tunnel. I just don’t know when it will be for us.”

While the daytime talk show star promises she won’t be “too scared” during her tour, she wants people to know what she’s going through right now.
