Very cold, snow accumulation inland Wednesday night/Thursday!
If you think it’s cold now, wait until the end of this week, the Arctic Blast is on its way! Normally, we should be in the upper 40s this time of year. Highs will continue in the upper 30s to low 40s through Wednesday. Mostly dry Tuesday with overnight showers/snow showers. No accruals are expected. However, the system we’re looking at Wednesday night/Thursday morning will bring the first accumulating snow of the season to much of the inland area. With the arrival of arctic air comes snow flurries on Thursday afternoon and falling temperatures. Midday highs on Friday will have a hard time getting above freezing with wind chills at times in the teens!
