Wednesday Season 2: Everything You Need to Know About the Netflix Series

Netflix’s Wednesday introduced viewers to a new version of Wednesday Addams — and her story has just begun.

The series, which premiered in November 2022, explores the iconic character (Jenna Ortega) as he tries to understand his psychic powers at Nevermore Academy while facing a massacre at the hands of a mysterious monster.

The series also starred Christina Ricciwho became famous playing Wednesday in ’90s movies The Addams Family again Addams Family Values. Her character, Marilyn Thornhill, was revealed to be one of the villains of the season, Laurel Gates, who wanted revenge on Nevermore Academy for her family’s failed attempts to eliminate the outcasts.

Following the season 1 premiere, creators Millar Millar again Alfred Gough open the way they drew the whole series. “For us, we always look to the future, and when we sit down to make a show, we look at many seasons,” they explained. Variety.

The two also talked about the great support of new and old fans, saying, “That was never expected, but it is what is expected for the show to be successful. So you always pitch at least three or four times as many storylines as the characters. It can evolve and change. We definitely have a clear path of what we want to do in the coming seasons.”
